Day 32, TX, Fredericksburg to Dripping Springs

I'm feeling a little like "Groundhog Day", everyday I wake up still in Texas!
We left after eight in broken clouds and low 30's. We were on two lane back roads paralleling hwy 290 east. Low traffic and pretty country scenes but we are still in hill country. No real flat spots yet but plenty of the "cedar fever" trees.
I'm still not convinced they are causing my distress but at least I'm able to ride comfortably if slower.
These small cabins are probably used for hunting home bases.
A hilltop break to shed yet more clothes as it reaches toward the high of 53.
Obligatory Texas longhorn photo. I only merited his attention briefly.
At the beautiful warmshowers destination for the night. John and Anne were as kind and generous as anyone could be. Thanks so much!

63 miles today.
