Day 39, LA, Merryville to De Ridder

We took our time breaking camp since we have a short day to De Ridder. We had to kill some time before Stu's restaurant opened for breakfast too. We are staying with friends of Jim's, (David and Diane) who have a beautiful home they shared with us. After some confusion due to the spelling of the name of the street they live on, we arrived around 11:00. We could've easily made DeRidder yesterday but had estimated our arrival for today from a few days ago.
